Youth Softball Registration Information
Cimarron Valley League
Updated Thursday February 21, 2019 by Sam Clift.GAS has joined a larger league, Cimmarron Valley that consist of several surrounding towns in our area. This means that for our divisions 8U, 10U, 12U AND 14U, there will be some travel back and forth between our surrounding communities. All the teams home games will be played right here in Guthrie. The Cimmarron Valley League has a lot to offer, one being the opportunity to play for a State Title through OKKids..
Wee Ball and Tee Ball will play all games and all practices at Owen's Field, 203 S. Academy, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
Registration will close March 1st.
Guthrie Coaches meeting will be March 3rd, 5:00pm at Pizza Hut
CVL Softball - Coaches meeting March 5th at 7:00pm at Kingfisher Aquatics Center, 626 E. Bowman, Kingfisher, OK 73750
League play will run April 1st through June 1st
End of Season (EOS) Tournament will be June 8th All league teams are invited and seeded according to league results. Top Team in League Play will sit out of EOS with an automatic invite to the State Tournament. The Top Team of EOS will also recieve an invite to State
State Tournament will be the June 21st though the 24th - Only the Top League Team and Top Regional Tourney Team will be invited to the State Tournament to represent Cimarron Valley League.
Our divisions and registration fees are as follows:
Wee Ball - Fee is $60.00, 3 to 4 years old, this division is played off a Tee and it's Coed, both girls and boys are allowed to play together.
Tee Ball - Fee is $60.00, 5 to 6 years old,This division is played off a Tee. both the boys and girls have gotten bigger and stonger. The boys are now old enought to play baseball. Softballs for girls! No boys allowed!
8U - Fee is $70.00, 7 nto 8 years old, This division is Coach Pitch not a Machine. Now we are starting to play ball, developing the defense, learning to pitch, hitting a live ball.
10U - Fee is $70.00, 9 to 10 years old, This division is Kid Pitch. We are now fastpitch! Refining our pitchers, Hitting a live kid thrown ball, Playing both offense and defense. Let's Go Lady Jays!
12U - Fee is $70.00 11 to 12 years old, This divisioin is Kid Pitch. We are now competting at a high level. With hope of making it to the next level of Lady Jays with School Ball and possibly some Travel Ball if you haven't started yet..
14U - Fee is $70.00 13 to 14 years old, This division is Kid Pitch. Hopefully you made the team, maybe you didn't make the team but you want to put in the work, give it another shot! Either way you want to play ball in the Spring.. Let's Go Lady Jays!
